Job description
Provide day-to-day health, safety and environmental oversight for civilian office and accommodation refurbishment projects at HKN Syria field sites. • Inspect work areas, equipment and contractors, identify hazards and follow up corrective actions. • Monitor work-at-height activities, demolition, scaffolding and control-of-work procedures. • Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks and safety observations; support incident investigations. • Prepare daily HSE records, inspection reports and statistics.
Requirements
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or recognised equivalent. • 3–5 years' practical HSE experience in civil construction, refurbishment or renovation. • Experience with multidisciplinary contractors and HSE management systems. • Fluent English; Kurdish and Arabic literacy preferred. Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
